Biography
Dr. Albaum is a seasoned higher education professional recognized for her unwavering dedication to student success. Her expertise lies in fostering robust community relationships, optimizing organizational structures, and instilling a shared vision for excellence. She holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Higher Education Administration from the University of South Florida, a Post-Graduate Certificate in College Teaching, and a Master of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance with a Business Minor from Florida State University.
Currently serving as the Vice President of Student Life at °ÄÃÅÌØÂí½ñÍí¿ª½± since December 2022, Dr. Albaum has spearheaded initiatives to enhance student experiences. Notable achievements include revamping the Division of Student Life and implementing data-driven interventions resulting in marked improvements in retention, engagement, and academic support utilization.
In her previous role as the Executive Director of Career Services, Dr. Albaum propelled °ÄÃÅÌØÂí½ñÍí¿ª½± to national recognition, achieving rankings on The Princeton Review's "Best Career Services" list for the first time in college history. Through a focus on data-driven outcomes, she significantly improved graduate success rates and fostered strong alumni relations.
